Machine threads are generally coarse teeth, which need to be tightened with corresponding standard internal threads. Generally speaking, it is a nut, and the machine thread mainly includes metric standards, American standards and English standards. The thread angle is 60 degrees for metric and American standards and 55 degrees for English standards. Metric standards are expressed in pitch, and American and British standards are expressed in number of teeth per inch. The thread of self-tapping screw is divided into coarse and fine teeth, generally known as type A and AB, and most of them are AB teeth. Self-tapping screws do not need to match the internal thread, only pre-fabricated holes are required. When tapping, a matching thread is automatically generated, which is called thread forming.

Another difference is the material, production process and application. The machine screws of Huizhou Screw Factory are usually made of 1008 steel and do not require heat treatment. They are usually used with nuts for occasions with low strength requirements. Self-tapping screws are usually made of 1022 steel and must be heat treated after completion. They are mainly used for thin steel plates and aluminum, and can also be used for wood. Therefore, we generally say that screws are not ordinary screws, but machine screws, self-tapping screws, wood screws, etc.

Huizhou screw factory to remove the broken screw tips are as follows:

1. First remove the sludge on the surface of the broken screw head, punch out the center of the section with a center punch, and then install a 6-8mm drill bit with an electric drill to drill the hole in the center of the section. Note that the hole must be drilled through. After the drilling is completed, remove the small drill bit, replace it with a drill bit with a diameter of 16mm, and continue to ream to prevent the bolt from breaking and drilling.

2. Take the welding rod with diameter less than 3.2mm, and surfacing welding from inside to outside in the drilling hole of the broken bolt with medium and small current. Take half the full length of the bolt at the beginning of the surface. During surfacing, the arc should not be too long to avoid burning through the outer wall of the broken bolt. After overlay welding to the upper end of the broken bolt, continue to weld the cylinder with a diameter of 14-16mm and a height of 8-10mm.

3. After surfacing, hammer the end face with a hammer to make the broken bolt vibrate along its axis. Due to the heat generated by the arc during the previous and subsequent cooling process, coupled with the vibration at this time, the thread between the broken bolt and the valve body will loosen.

4. After careful observation, when a small amount of rust and leakage are found on the fracture after knocking, the M18 nut sleeve can be welded on the surfacing stud.

5. After welding, twist the nut left and right with a socket wrench while it is hot, or hit the end face of the nut with a small hammer, and twist it back and forth at the same time to take out the broken bolt.

6. After taking out the broken bolt, use a suitable screw hammer to machine the thread in the rack once to remove rust and other debris in the hole.
